Laura Jensen started playing the cello in the public school music program in Spring Branch, in Houston, Texas. She later studied with Paula Eisenstein Baker and with Warren Lash. She auditioned for music schools but decided to attend college instead and learn about math. Later on, she went back to school and became a high school math teacher.
Laura has played with community orchestras in Oakland, California and Houston, Texas, before coming to Eau Claire. She has played with the Chippewa Valley Symphony and several chamber ensembles, most recently with Quartetto Perdensosi and its sequel, Trio Perdendosi.
